Cookie Policy
Last Updated: 20 June 2025
This page explains what cookies are, which ones this website uses, and how you can manage your preferences. We try to keep this explanation as plain as possible — no unnecessary technical language.
What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a small file that a website places in your browser when you visit. It allows the site to remember certain things — for example, whether you have already accepted the cookie notice, or which language you prefer.
Cookies are not programs. They cannot run code or carry viruses. They are simply text files that your browser stores and sends back to the website on your next visit.
Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies (always active)
These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They cannot be switched off. They store your cookie preference (so we do not show the consent banner every time) and maintain basic site security. They do not collect any personal information for marketing purposes.
cookieConsent — stores your cookie preferences. Duration: 12 months.
Analytics Cookies (optional)
If you accept analytics cookies, we may use a tool such as Google Analytics to understand how visitors navigate this site — which pages are visited most, how long people spend on each page, and where visitors come from geographically. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Marketing Cookies (optional)
We do not currently use marketing cookies on this website. This category is included in the preference panel in case that changes in future. At present, enabling or disabling it has no effect.
Preference Cookies (optional)
These cookies remember your settings — for example, your preferred language or region — so you do not have to set them again each visit.
Third-Party Cookies
If analytics cookies are enabled, Google Analytics will place its own cookies in your browser. Google's privacy policy governs how that data is handled. We do not use Facebook Pixel, advertising networks, or social media tracking on this website.
The Google Maps embed on our homepage (index page) may also set cookies from Google's domain when you interact with the map. These are governed by Google's cookie policy.
Cookie Duration
- Session cookies: deleted automatically when you close your browser.
- Persistent cookies: remain until they expire or you delete them. Our cookie consent record persists for 12 months.
- Google Analytics cookies: typically up to 2 years, depending on which cookies Google uses.
Your Cookie Preferences
Use the toggles below to manage your preferences. Changes are saved to your browser. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect how the site works for you, but it will prevent us from understanding how the site is used overall.

Your Rights
You can withdraw consent for optional cookies at any time using the preference panel above or through your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of any processing that took place before you withdrew it.
Disabling all cookies may affect how parts of this website work. Essential cookies cannot be disabled, as the site requires them to function.
